Help Khenpo Sherab Ozer Rinpoche Build a Dharma Center
In May 2004, Khenpo Sherab Ozer Rinpoche, invited his Tucson sangha to assist in the establishment of a Tibetan Buddhist Meditation Center supporting the teachings and practices of the Drikung Kagyu tradition. Many sangha members pledged their support and have, over the last few years, come together to begin to help build a foundation for a center for our sangha and a home for our precious teacher.
Over the course of the last 10 years, our efforts have been directed at providing teachings and holding practices for our sangha. And we have been greatly blessed with the opportunity to host many wonderful teachers.
The Drikung Namgyal Ling Building Fund was established to accumulate and hold funds for property purchase, and through the generous donations of practitioners and other fundraising activities, has thus far grown to over $40,000. We are on our way!
Donating to the Center Building Fund helps lay a foundation for the long-term success of our center. Our activities will become broader with an increased ability to house more practices and other events, enable greater volunteer involvement, and support other needs of our sangha, community, and the dharma. With physical property, we can more easily control the costs of housing and supporting teachers, as well as eliminate the recurring costs of venue rental.
But our work continues, and to meet our near-term goals, we need your help!
