His Holiness, The Drikung Kyabgön Chetsang Rinpoche, has made it a priority to revitalize the tradition and practice of Hevajra in the Drikung Centers around the world. In May of 2016, he did exactly that in Tucson, Arizona, when he blessed us with an Hevajra empowerment and teaching.

 

Once the main deity practice of none other than the renowned master, Marpa Lotsawa and his consort, Nairatmya, transmission of this lineage practice had ceased for several hundred years until H.H. Chetsang Rinpoche restored the tradition. To deepen our understanding of this rare and precious tantra, which includes instructions on the Six Yogas of Naropa, Drupon Thinley Ningpo returns to Drikung Namgyal Ling. We will study both the root verses and detailed explication contained in the text, Coermergent Hevajra and Six Dharma of Naropa, by Rigdzin Chokyi Dragpa.
