Teachings on Preparing Torma

April 22, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

| $25

Following our weekly sadhana practice, Drupon Thinley Ningpo will teach us how to prepare torma. Torma is a handmade ritual cake, molded from butter, barley flour, and various other substances, and often used as an offering in Tibetan Buddhist practice. In his teachings, Drupon Rinpoche will demonstrate how to properly prepare and offer torma. During this teaching, participants will prepare and make their own torma. PLEASE bring Moldable Clay or Play Doh for your torma. PLEASE NOTE that although Play Doh is useful for practicing torma, it will shrink and change shape over time and therefore will not be useful as an offering.

Suggested Donation

  • $15.00 for morning session
  • $15.00 for afternoon session
  • $25.00 for full day of teachings
