White Tara Empowerment and Teachings
March 20, 2009 @ 12:00 am - March 22, 2009 @ 12:00 am
Practiced by all four major schools of Tibetan Buddhism, White Tara has been the main deity practice of many well-known Buddhist scholars and siddhas (in both India and Tibet), foremost among them being Nagarjuna and Atisha.
Her special function is to promote long life, both for the practitioner and for others. She removes all unfavorable circumstances, and bestows upon us good health, long life, and prosperity. Ultimately, she is the very nature of the dharmakaya; her practice is a means for attaining liberation.
