One practices the four extraordinary foundations, or the Vajrayana Ngondro, to purify the negative karma and obscurations of the mind, speech and body and to develop virtues.

Taking refuge, the foundation stone of all paths

The inner preliminaries starts with taking refuge, learning to rely on the Buddha, the Dharma(his teachings) , and the Sangha.  Taking refuge is the basis of the other preliminaries and of all Buddhist practices.

This will be a teaching and practice weekend.  Please bring your questions as this weekend will be helpful for beginners and experienced practitioners.
