The Thirty Seven Practices of a Bodhisattva

September 8, 2008 @ 12:00 am - September 9, 2008 @ 12:00 am

The teachings on the Thirty Seven Practices of a Bodhisattva give practical advice on how to work with our own hearts and minds, beginning wherever we are now, so that we can discover our own potential for compassion, love, and wisdom. Bodhisattvas are those who have the courage to undertake the profound change in attitude to develop true compassion. They resolve to consider othersí needs as paramount and thus attain enlightenment for the sake of all sentient beings. They are carried beyond the limits imposed by the illusion of self and other and thus attain the direct realization of reality.

This special evening teaching event will be led by Khenpo Yeshi Rinpoche, and will occur Monday and Tuesday evening from 7-9 pm.
